Went to college at Arizona State. Then moved to New York for a couple of years and onto Hawaii. Moved back to Madison in '75 and have been back here since. Was married for 24 years to the love of my life until he passed away five years ago of a massive heart attack. We were living on a 50 acre farmette growing crops and raising cattle.

I have since moved to a condo in Fitchburg - I'm basically a city chick at heart. I've worked for the Wisconsin Education Association Council for the past 27 years - doesn't seem possible!

I'm an avid golfer and own a home in Florida on a beautiful golf course overlooking the 6th fairway. Unfortunately, I don't get there as often as possible. One of these days I do hope to retire and spend winters there.

Married a Minnesotan that I met in San Diego. We have 2 girls, ages 9 and 11 and have lived in San Diego for 30 years. My business is commercial real estate brokerage.

Went to school first at UW-Oshkosh, then to UW-Madison. Still have season football tickets for the Badgers. Had them so long that I now sit almost on the 50 yard line. Began and ended my working career as my own boss. I began with an indoor plant store on State Street and had another store, The Frog Bog, in Verona where we lived for 21 years. It was the largest retail pond and waterfall store in WI when I retired two years ago. I still consult on water features and pond components throughout the country and lecture in the Midwest. We built our "retirement" home (that means it's handicap accessible) on five acres outside of New Glarus, WI last year. Even had two classmates, Mark Genin and Steve Linn, build and install some of the features. They did a terrific job and the whole building experience was fun and successful.

I married Sue Matoy, (Memorial, Class of '70) in '76. We're still married! Have three great kids, Alyson 30, a lawyer; Heidi 27, works at St. Mary's and is a nursing student; and Kalise 24, a teacher in Watertown. One granddaughter, 6, going into first grade and have a second grandchild due in October. Sue's retiring next month. We have a second house where Sue goes with her friends to quilt. They also make themed pillow covers, then donate them for children at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. Spend most of my time making furniture, landscaping our new house and mowing and snowplowing at both houses. The docs tell me that I have to get both knees replaced in the near future. I where a brace on one knee now, most of the time. Too much running in high school, I guess.

We've taken some trips to Europe and in retirement we'll be working on getting to the states and Canadian provinces we haven't seen yet. Sue has nine more and I have thirteen more states to see. Most recently we traveled to Alaska where my highlight was getting to feed salmon to almost 50 sled dogs at, former West Physics teacher, Dave Braunschweig's daughter's home. Dave's son-in-law has run the Iditarod twice and Dave's daughter ran and finished the last Iditarod, her first! Amazing people. Just got back from the Northwest. I now understand why so many of you have moved to WA and OR. While in OR, I was able to check one item off of my "bucket list". I always wanted to learn to blow glass. I was able to blow and color a hanging glass ornament, mostly on my own.

Really appreciate the hours of work put in by Rick and Bill to make this site and the reunions possible. Thanks guys!
