| South Carolina, FT Mill, is where I live with my
wife Rebecca who is from Virginia. We met here 17 yrs ago and though I think
of Madison not sure I want all that cold, so I get the best of all worlds
here. We have no children, Rebecca is Financial Director for Coke
Consolidated in Charlotte NC, I work for Wholesale Fork lifts, and we sell
remade fork lifts to dealers around the world.
When not at work, my biggest time consumption is Basketball. I run a
church league I started 7 years ago and we now have over 1000 kids playing
from grades K-12. So Nov - Feb is league play and some down time after that.
Then we start looking at scheduling gym time for next year. I have been
doing some missions work around Chicago and I have been to India right after
the tragic big wave hit. Let’s just say I have seen death in a way that I
don't want to see it again, but I have seen the spirit in people pulling
together like in NY, or when a big weather disaster happens, I was in Hugo,
saw it here, worked it here. I'm now training to go to China and Cuba, not
sure which one will be first.
I sing in a 75 person choir, so no one hears me, which takes up a lot of
time. Our Minister was the bass player in Blackfoot southern rock and roll
band. He started it and now is a minister, great story; it is in a book
called "Hard Rock to Solid Rock" He holds nothing back when talking about
it. He has me learning the bass. One neat thing is that we have so many old
time rockers that show up and jam on Sundays that know him in the past.
I ride actively a 1600 Kaw, since we can ride every month in the year,
and have worked with some biker gangs down here more of a ministry out
reach. It has some eye opening times. Some of the bikers work for me in our
shop which is how I was able to get past some barriers. Yes I eat grits,
drink sweet tea, love NASCAR, just all being part of the South, You'al under
stan, I may have some red neck in me now, but I don't talk the talk unless I
need to for work related needs. I think half of NY, NJ, and all live here
now; this is a fast growing area, second largest banking area next to Wall
Street. We have sky scrapers, pro football (still a Packer fan) basketball
soon baseball is the talk, after 20 years here, Madison is still Home.
Thanks for reading this, Scott Wille

I still live in the Madison area, in Middleton
"The number one city in the U. S." I am an architectural designer for Design
Shelters, LLC., a custom, upper end home builder in the Dane County area.
Divorced with two daughters and two grand-daughters. Hunt, fish, golf, and
enjoy all the great things that Madison and Wisconsin have to offer.

| "Even though I wanted to be a librarian, I grew
up to be a Genetic Counselor. I received my Masters degree from the UW
Madison in 1978 in Medical Genetics and Social Work. I spent three years in
Nebraska and Iowa doing pediatric genetic counseling and coordinating
regional clinics before moving to San Francisco after realizing I could live
anywhere I wanted to. Why not be by an ocean?
I initially spent three years working with the Hyatt in the hotel
industry since Reagan had made major grant funding cuts eliminating many of
the available but limited genetic counseling jobs. My last Hyatt position
was Employment Manager at the Hyatt on Union Square now the Grand Hyatt. I
was recruited back into genetics and have been at the University of
California Medical Center in San Francisco since 1986 working in the
Prenatal Diagnostic Center.
I met my husband Wally Breitman in 1997 while we were neighbors in San
Francisco. He was a widower with two lovely grown daughters who kindly
welcomed me into their Dad's life. (One is a children's librarian!) We now
have two wonderful grandchildren. I feel I got the best deal by not having
to raise children but having grandchildren to spoil!
After living in SF for 17 years, I moved to Sonoma in 1998 needing to
have some dirt. I had been leaving the City on weekends to be in the country
with horses and nature. Why not live in the country and commute into SF to
work? San Francisco was great but I missed gardening. Have you ever tried to
grow tomatoes on your rooftop in the SF summer fog?
Wally and I were married in 2000. He is a wonderful friend and companion.
He never ceases to amaze me. He recently retired from Human Resources in the
semiconductor industry. His work allowed him, and me, to travel around the
world. In fact we took an around the world trip for our honeymoon.
I have sold my motorcycle. I had a Kawasaki 750 that took me to Canada
and back. With Wally not riding, and two dogs, I wasn't riding much. Now I
spend my time gardening, training dogs at home and at our local animal
shelter, and tending to our two horses, Taco and Honey, when I'm not acting
as the chief handyperson around our property.
UPDATE: My latest news is I just started working for Kaiser Permanente
Medical Center in Oakland! July 2007, after 21 years, I retired from UCSF
and have taken a job as a Prenatal Screening Coordinator for Northern
California Kaiser. Life goes on!
